I’ve been thinking about making shoes for about 3 years now. Ever since I saw a Charlie Rose interview with Danial Day-Lewis. I had no idea that shoes could be handmade and be worth much.
After that interview I went down the YouTube rabbit hole and learned a lot about the process of making shoes. Lots of instruction but the problem I found was it seemed that there was always something missing. Either I needed an expensive piece of equipment or there was confusion about materials or not all the information was there.
I finally came across your company and decided to order your sneaker kit. The first thing I discovered was that the kit was very complete (everything but the glue which was no problem to find).But the thing that brought it all together for me was the incredibly detailed assembly video that accompanied it. For the first time I finally and completely understood the process including variables that could be used.

I’m new to shoemaking and have always wanted to make my own shoes but didn’t know how to get started. I decided to take the plunge and try this kit. The experience was super fun and not difficult at all! The instructions and video are super helpful! It took me about 8-10 hours total to finish the pair. So excited to try them on and they fit , feel comfortable and look super cool!! I’m already starting my second pair and adding lining pieces, some foam, and some cool logo treatment. You can do it too!

I’m a beginner and was so excited to find this complete shoemaking kit to get me making shoes right away. This type of project has been on my list for so long. Stuff like this is hard to find and you guys got everything. I’ll be getting a few more kits and probably some other patterns and helping a couple friends make their own sneakers over the long holiday break we get.
