Shoe Tongue
The shoe tongue pads the top of the foot. The tongue is connected to the top of the vamp at the base of the eyestay. The tongue may have elastic centering straps attached to the edges or a tab that can be held by the laces. Depending on the shoe style, the tongue may be a single layer of leather or and inch of PU foam.
